While he mainly specializes in scenic natural landscapes, he is always open to new challenges. Nothing leaves Collin’s studio until he is confident that the work meets his standards of artistic ability.
Pricing
Because Collin has a very adaptive schedule and he focuses on the quality of a piece rather than time spent on his artwork, The pricing heavily relies on the size, content, level of detail, and materials associated with the creation.
Creation Time
Due to the workload and amount of orders in queue, commissions may take several days to several weeks to create. If you have a deadline you would like to make, please mention it in your request. Express orders may incur additional costs.
Pricing
Size
The size of the canvas heavily dictates the price of the artwork. The bigger the size, the more room for detail, and the greater the cost of the un-painted canvas to the studio. (See sizing chart below)
Detail
While Collin experiments with several styles, the level of detail associated with a piece directly reflects the amount of effort put into a piece. Something presented more realistically will have a higher price than an abstract design.
Content
While Collin is up for any artistic challenge, the price of a requested piece will increase with the deviation from his normal abilities. For instance, a detailed motorbike portrait would cost more than a seascape, for the former is “new territory” for Collin, a budding artist.
Amount of content will also play a role in the pricing; the more things to paint, the greater the cost.
Materials
The materials associated with creation will also be factored into pricing artwork. For example, costs of canvas, paint, primers/media mixers, varnish, etc.

Types of Work
Collin does many styles of paintings, including custom landscapes, paint pours, modern, abstract, and impasto styles, and silhouette portraits. He has painted on various mediums, from skateboards to stretched canvas.
Custom Landscapes
These are requested artworks that have been crafted from a customers description to the best of the artist’s ability. Collin can try to paint anything, but landscapes are his specialty.
Paint Pours
This style of artwork is easy to create, but hard to control. Pricing will reflect size and material costs. When making a request, anything other than color schemes must be discussed. 2 colors are included in the listing price; each additional colors incurs an extra $5.
Commission Payment
Due to the flexibility of production and customer interest, Collin (like many artists) works on commission.
For artwork $400 and under, I must receive full payment upfront.
For artwork over $400, I must receive half of the agreed upon payment upfront in order to secure a deposit and begin creating the artwork; the other half will be due at the time of sale, when receiving the final product.
Production will not begin until commission is received. Expedited production may be available for a fee.
